I know i have seen a post on this before but I couldn%26#39;t find it.
I am staying at the MGM grand for Labor Day weekend and I had originally booked through a Players Club offer. Then a couple of days ago I received a better offer for the first night of our stay. When I called to change the reservation, I was told that since I had booked the initial reservation through my Players club account that I couldn%26#39;t have the special offer on that reservation.
So I booked the less expensive night separately and then cancelled that night on my Players Card reservation.
So now for the question...
Since I have two reservations for the same room type will I have to change rooms or can I just tell the front desk what my situation is so that they don%26#39;t go through the trouble of moving us to the same type of room?
I%26#39;m sure someone has done this. Please let me know what your experiences are.
Thanks
EE
2 reservations @ same hotel - Will I have to change rooms?
call the hotel and ask, most likely not, but why not ask the people who will know for sure.
2 reservations @ same hotel - Will I have to change rooms?
In July, My wife had an offer at the Flamingo for Two free nights from her rewards card. I also had two free nights. We book her two followed by my two, and then reserved three more. We checked in at the airport an they put all three back to back. As each reservation was completed, we would go to the front desk check out and change to the next reservation. It was seamless. We did it early to avoid the lines. We did not have a problem. Martin
Thanks for your help!
We%26#39;ve done this a few times. Just talk to them when you check in and tell them you%26#39;d prefer to stay in the same room. I%26#39;ve never had a problem yet. Have a blast!
