would appreciate everyones help, what are the best attractions everyone has seen in vegas
what are the best things to see in vegas??
Well I haven%26#39;t seen it yet, but it happens this Tuesday 8/29 and I will be there to see it then:
The Paris Hilton CD Release Block Party on the Las Vegas Strip will feature a carnival atmosphere including go-go dancers, sword swallowers, light bulb eaters, a lady who rolls around in glass, a man who can jump rope with three girls on his back, human jugglers, a man who balances stoves on his chin, drag queens, hand balancers, contortionists, little people, live bands, spring jumpers, stilt walkers, live monkeys, live goats and much more.
';Mr. Vegas'; Jeff Beacher will attempt to break the record for ';World%26#39;s Heaviest Pig In a Blanket'; by being wrapped in dough, lifted 10 stories by crane and dropped in a pool of ketchup. He will stay submerged holding his breath for a record-breaking 10 minutes -- a feat that even David Blaine could not accomplish, coming up for air at the seven-minute mark.
All this %26amp; Paris Hilton...
God Bless the USA!
Seriously, one of the best things to see is the view from the VooDoo Lounge on top the Rio at night--spectacular!
what are the best things to see in vegas??
thanks!! sounds like liverpool on a saturday night
I think the best attractions to see are all free in front of or in the lobby%26#39;s of the mega hotel casinos. These would include the ';Dancing Fountains'; of the Bellagio ( only in the evening when they are choreographed to music) and also the beautiful flower displays in the Botanical Garden inside Bellagio; the ';talking statues'; at Caesars Palace and the Volcano in front of the Mirage in the evening ( I had heard it might be closing for remodeling, but don%26#39;t know for sure). You can also enjoy the interior of the Venetian Hotel, with it%26#39;s gorgeous painted ceilings and musicians performing as well as watch the Gondoliers ( Don%26#39;t waste your money on the gondola ride.) All these hotels have elaborate shopping areas as well and we enjoy just window shopping all the designer and jewelry shops. The people watching is another Vegas attraction. You can watch people gambling enormous sums of money and just in general watch the most amazing assortment of folks walking about.
The one ';attraction'; I don%26#39;t recommend is the awful Siren show in front of the Treasure Island . It%26#39;s really terribly done and most folks wish they would just replace it with something else. Nevertheless folks who don%26#39;t know better mob the sidewalk there to see it and it is a prime spot for pickpockets, which generally aren%26#39;t much of a problem elsewhere in Vegas.
We leave Tuesday for probably our 30th trip and I never tire of revisiting all these places and everyone of them is free!
The best thing to see in Vegas is three ';Wheel of Fortune';symbols in the center row of a $1 slot machine, with 2 credits played. Couple of weeks ago, that was a 5 million jackpot. (dollars, not pounds. Sorry.)
hi logo one of our best places was the wax museum at the Venetian, we where in there for hours and took lots of photys, i even got married to george clooney, we got half price tickets just outside
Thanks Mike you made me laugh with that reply. Cheers will look out for that.

Flami14 loved the Wax Musuem. I hated it, went through it in about 20 minutes and wondered why it was there. Completely unlike the Wax Musuem that I saw about 40 years ago in San Fran -- that had murder scenes and other fun stuff. The Vegas one is simply celebrities standing around for you to pose with. Not my cup o%26#39; tea. Good thing it was comped, so I was only annoyed at having wasted my time, not my money.
At the Bellagio, right next to the Conservatory, is the chocolate fountain; that is worth a stare!
The gardens/pools at the Flamingo weren%26#39;t mentioned. There are some kind of big cat -- white tigers? -- at MGM, with a glass floor that you can go under.
Under the pay attractions, I assume that Seigfried and Roy%26#39;s Secret Garden is still open at Mirage.
I liked the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, but it is a VERY long walk past the convention hall. I know a lot of people say it is too expensive for what it is.
For all of our Brit friends, I recommend firing a machine gun at The Gun Store. Be sure to get the $5 off coupon (available everywhere). You guys have no right to possess any dangerous weapons, soon to include knives, ice picks and screwdrivers, so you need to remind yourselves when you come to the States.
