Better Buffet: Your Opinion

My family and I are trying to decide which buffet to hit on our trip and we have narrowed the choices to the Rio and the Alladdin Buffet. Which one do you prefer and why?

I have never been to the Rio buffet. We always do a buffet one night for dinner and we always choose the Alladdin. We are all happy there and enjoy it. I am not sure though now with all the changes if the buffet is still as good. I will be trying it out in about a week and a half. I%26#39;ll let you know.

I have only had the Rio buffet one time, admittedly several years ago. I prefer the Aladdin buffet personally but you might want to check because I have heard they are closing their buffet down to remodel. Not sure when or for how long.

I just read somewhere here on the forum that it has been moved to another area. Perhaps I will give them a call before I go to make sure it is still there/open!

Rio has more variety. The Aladdin seems to have the edge in food quality and shorter lines. Traveling offstrip, then waiting in a longer line, not so good. Both are almost the same at lunch as dinner...go at lunch prices, and hit both

Mandalay Bay is the best experience, combining shortest average wait, nicest dining rooms, and quality food

Alladdin Buffet is old and junky.

go for the Bellagio! Awsome!

Krow I would rethink this one. There is no answer to the question which is best.

I can tell you both RIO buffets are no where near the best or anywhere near as good as they used to be back in the 90%26#39;s.

Alladin is not much better either since the hotel quit subsidizing it long ago after bankruptcy.

I haven%26#39;t been to either Rio buffet, but I was very disappointed with the Aladdin Spice Market Buffet last year and won%26#39;t be back.

I%26#39;d recommend Wynn, Paris or Bellagio instead.

Rio had a good selection but the quality was poor. The Alladin was decent. Like the other person said the Bellagio is very good but I still prefer the Mirage, it has yet to fail to give great food and service.

best buffet in vegas is at the Sahara!! you%26#39;ll love it!!
