I have flown on Frontier, I had a good experience. Is one better than the other?

I always fly Frontier to Denver...so that would be my pick. if they had a direct route from Tampa to Vegas I would use them exclusively…

I live in Chicago, a major market for Southwest and United/TED,

with some token Frontier service at Midway Airport. I flew Ted once,

to Vegas, and enjoyed it. I have since priced them again for 3 other trips and they weren%26#39;t in the same ballpark as America West. I dislike SW for their cattle call boarding and company policy to routinely overbook flights by as much as 20%. I%26#39;d definitely go with Ted or Frontier. I only know a little about Frontier, having watched ';Flight Attendant School'; last winter on the Travel Channel. It seems like a well-run operation, and they have a very young fleet now. Overall, my favorite is America West (becoming US Airways) but that wasn%26#39;t one of your choices!

Havin only ever flown United airlines or American airlines from UK I was wandering if any of you guys could give me the lowdown on

US Airways? we have to change at philadelphia but with the change and adding 3hrs to our travel time we saved over over 500 GB pd.{more spends for in the shops}. Hope you can help me

Frontier-by far.

I always flew on America West until I flew back on an absolutely filthy old US Airways plane, even the seats were falling apart! The last time I flew was on Frontier, a new plane, very nice. They have a tv in the back on the seat in front of you. It%26#39;s 5 bucks to watch cable, but you can track your flight pathon the tv for free, this was interesting. I have not flown on Southwest, be sure you get an early boarding pass and make sure you get to the gate EARLY, Southwest overbooks more than others. The good thing is they do not charge a change fee like the others if your plans change, you just need to fly within a year of your original flight to get credit for the flight you missed. I wouldn%26#39;t fly Ted, other posters have complained bitterly about the lack of legroom. If your plans are definite, I would fly Frontier and get assigned seating.

I have never flown Frontier but I have flown United Ted and Southwest. If the price is the same, I would choose Ted. Southwest does not have assigned seating and does not show any movies on their flights.

Frontier, Frontier, Frontier. I love their service and their nice clean planes.

I hate Southwest%26#39;s cattle car seating and unprofessional flight attendants, but I always end up flying them to Vegas because they offer the cheapest nonstops from where I live. If Frontier would offer a comparable flight, I%26#39;d switch in a second.

it doesn%26#39;t matter - all domestic airlines are basically the same - one day great-another not. weather and mechanicals affect all of them at one time or another.

pick the route that is best (i prefer non-stop to direct and direct to multi-stop) and price and airport and connections. the airlines could be called A B and C - shop convenience and price for the short trips most of have to LV.

I f flying international I pick the easiest connections and least amount of flying time. Non-stop to LV from landing in US.

Frontier by far. It would be great if they had a direct route from Tampa, but the change at Denver isn%26#39;t bad at all. Usually just enough time to get a bite at the Panda Express....

I haven%26#39;t flown Ted or Frontier. Southwest doesn%26#39;t bother me - I print out my boarding pass at home (or in whatever hotel I%26#39;m staying at) 24 hours in advance so that I am in the A line to board. I take my own food.

Industry wide Southwest has the best safety and on-time record of any airline. I have a friend that is an Exec at American, he says if he had to put money on an airline that would still be in business TOMMORROW - he%26#39;d only put money on Southwest.

All that being said, they only fly Boeing 737%26#39;s. I%26#39;d rather fly the Airbus - but JetBlue isn%26#39;t going there from here yet...
