What is the best way to go from the Hoover Dam to Valley of Fire with seeing a little of Lake Mead on the way??

Check out this website. I read your other post about places to eat and was looking for info. I know we ate breakfast before we left Vegas and stopped along the way and got water and sandwiches to picnic. They say the marinas have places to eat and you will pass a couple on the from Hoover Dam. Hope this helps some.

Actually those are directions from Las vegas. I would like to go directly from the Hoover Dam to VOF.

Maybe I need to get a detailed map of the area and just take a look over it.

It%26#39;s simple, there%26#39;s really only one way to go.

After visiting Hoover Dam you will bactrack a bit, then turn right and head toward Overton. You%26#39;ll turn left toward VOF before reaching Overton. It will be clear from the maps.
