Self-parking at Barbary Coast?

I know there is free valet parking at the Barbary Coast but hope you can also self-park - can anybody tell me if you can and where the car park is located?

Self-parking at Barbary Coast?

yes, you can self-park at barbary coast, it%26#39;s right there in the back of the hotel. if i remember correctly, i think it%26#39;s an indoor parking garage.

Valet parking is free but remember to tip $2-3 when your car is returned.

What is the deal with valet parking answers to self-parking questions? Aren%26#39;t most valets at the front of the casinos on the strip and elsewhere? If we rent a car to avoid the strip driving why would we want to go to valet parking? Many of us dont want to turn a rented car over to someone and try to explain the dings or scratches that often occur in valet to our rental companies. That is why we ask about how to access parking and if it needs to be validated by play or what. Yall have told me the casinos all have parking but in New Orleans at Harrahs you have to play 30 minutes and get validated or it is $4 an hour to use their garage. It does matter, and we can all just call the places we want to go an ask them but that is what trip advisor is for isnt it? I intend to visit about 40 different casinos in the 15 days we will be there, sorry , no one has to answer, ever.

Wanderfest, at most (but not all) Strip hotels self-park garages are a LONG walk from the casino and it%26#39;s worth the valet tip to save yourself time and shoe leather, especially as you%26#39;ve got such an ambitious plan to visit a lot of places (good luck!).

Here%26#39;s a site with some information on parking garages:

vegas.com/transportation/parkinggarages.html

The valet and self parking entrance at the BC are located at the same place, on Flamingo east of Las Vegas Blvd.

Some people get nauseas driving up the ramp to get to the parking levels. It%26#39;s the closest you can get to the old Six Million Dollar man ride at Universal without going back in time.

The garage is a lot smaller than other hotel lots, so it fills up quicker. I%26#39;ve never had a problem finding parking in the mornings.

';Wanderfest, at most (but not all) Strip hotels self-park garages are a LONG walk from the casino';

You and I have very different definitions of a long walk. I%26#39;ve walked longer at the mall on a busy day to get from my car to the shops than I have to walk in most Vegas self parking garages. By the time I%26#39;ve pulled in found a spot and walked to the casino, I%26#39;d still be waiting in line to give the valet $3 to park my car for me. And when I leave, I%26#39;m out on the street in my car while I%26#39;d still be stading at the front waiting to pay the valet $3 for bringing my car back. Why bother, when I have perfectly good legs?

Wanderfest - on the strip and off strip hotels, you do not need to get validated at all, there%26#39;s no ticket system, you just pull in and park, leave when you want.

Downtown is the only place you will have to worry about validation. And it%26#39;s not like the NOLA Harrah%26#39;s, you just get one stamp. The machine is self service, so we usually just walk by the cashier%26#39;s cage and get a stamp when we cut through the casino. Then go do our thing. If you%26#39;re worried, get yourself another stamp on the way back through the casino to your car.

If you park at Main Street Station, you won%26#39;t even have to worry about it, they don%26#39;t have a ticket system.

I agree with bunny. I tend to self-park. My favorite place to park my car is at the Mirage parking garage. Head east on Spring Mountain(stay in the right hand lane) and just before the strip you will see the garage for TI and the Mirage. Turn right, go past the TI garage, turn right again and the garage is on the left. Go to the 4th level, park the car, cross the little bridge, down the escalator and you are in the lobby. It takes all of 2 minutes. The BC garage is on the side of the casino- E. Flamingo Road. I don%26#39;t think BC has an entrance on the strip.

Wanderfest-I have rented a car in Vegas about 60 times. Only once was it damaged and I don%26#39;t think it had anything to do with parking. The dent was on the TOP of the hood.To this day I can%26#39;t figure out how that happened-someone dancing on my hood? It doesn%26#39;t matter if you self park or valet park- you can still get dinged! Haven%26#39;t you ever seen anyone push open their door and hit the car next to them in any parking lot?

The parking garage at bc is almost on top of the casino. The elevator drops you right on the casino. There are tight turns all the way up to the parking levels. Proceed with caution and beware of oncoming drivers that might stray out of their lane.
