Nothing ever changes

Hello folks. I was supposed to be writing my trip report by now but unfortunately, my mother passed away on the day we were to leave for Vegas. What I do want to say is that I haven%26#39;t looked at this forum for 10 days and nothing every changes. The same questions, the same answers. On one hand it was nice to get back to the familiar on the other, it just makes you wonder.

Oh well, I am sure I will make the trip again sometime soon since we were fortunate enough to be able to cancel the hotel, shows, airfare, etc. I look forward to being able to report wonderful things.

Nothing ever changes

I am very sorry about your lose damama. God Bless you and your family.

Nothing ever changes

Sooo sorry to hear that. Glad you were able to cancel. Rebook when you can. There is no time like now!

THanks for your thoughts and it is comforting to know that my mother would be the first to tell me to get my you know what there. She was just disappointed that she never got back there. I guess that%26#39;s what happens when you smoke for 60 years.

At least planning another trip will give me something to keep my mind (what there is of it) occupied.

Was just thinking about you yesterday %26amp; looking for your TR and saw your message now. Im really sorry to read about your mom passing away.

Take care

Damama, so sorry to hear about your mother. You and your family have my sincerest sympathies.

I had wondered when I would be seeing a trip report from you, sorry this is what I found instead.

Missed having you here and yes, same ole, same ole!! ;)

Damama, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

My friends/family ask why I visit this site so regularly even though we%26#39;ve been so often to visit. My only explanation (apart from addiction) is that it%26#39;s nice to hear things from different perspectives. I enjoy hearing everyone%26#39;s view -points.I can read reviews from a year ago, but you know what-- I am more interested in some one%26#39;s opinion that visited last week than last year as ';time%26#39;s have changed';.

Very hard to lose a loved one, especially your mother. My heart felt sympathy goes out to you and your family.

You%26#39;re right. This forum is kind of like a soap opera. You can go without watching them for a year and it takes no more than 3 episodes to figure out what%26#39;s going on.

Hope you take a ';mending'; trip soon.

sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

I am sure there is another trip out there somewhere. Give yourself some time - or maybe not?? I took my mom to Reno 3 months after my dad died. Its a very personal thing.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in 1999 and it was one of the hardest things I%26#39;ve ever been through.
