Just back from our first visit stayed at Bally%26#39;s and we visited almost every hotel in 3 days....
We were in casino and I saw a piece of paper on the floor and no one was by it and it was for a couple of hundred so we took it and cashed it in....the next day saw another on the floor for $8.00 and cashed it....
Just wondering if a lot people are finding them also...
The Buffets we dined at were Bally%26#39;s kitchen, Rio Seafoood excepted better glad I had a coupon....headed to Ceasers line to long then we went to Alladin instead not bad but the best was Mandalay Bay Bayside Buffet!!!
The lines at the Airport on Saturday were unreal...outside for Southwest at least 50 minutes then in Security for another 30 minutes!!
Wow!
Found Vouchers on the floor!
The casinos may see that as stealing since those weren%26#39;t your tickets. Like the story of the old lady who found a nickel in a machine, took it, and was then shot by security.
Found Vouchers on the floor!
The one with the larger amount was found by a garbage can....and the one for $8.00 was in the lobby!!
Did you ever read the back of the vouchers?
I left $150 one in the Plaza bathroom on my first trip to Vegas after the ticket machines had been installed, thankfully the nice old lady who picked it up gave it back to me as I was running back in looking frantic.
The only ones I ever find are for a dollar or less.
Finders keepers. I found 2 $100 bills under my table in a deli at the Desert Passage when I was last in Vegas. I grabbed them and called it my biggest win! People should take care of their cash.
By the same token, if you see the person who accidentally left the ticket in the machine, you should definitely chase them down. An old guy had left a $21 slip in a machine in Caesers Palace and was about as delighted as anyone I%26#39;ve ever seen to get it back.
What does it say on the back of the vouchers? People leave those .10 ones around for the next person to have some luck, I think.
Reminds me of when I took a friend to the buffet at our local casino. After eating --ick!--- she sheepishly asked if I would show her how a penny machine worked, lol! She thought you dropped in pennies.
We wandered around a bit, and happened to see a row of Jackpot Party slots. One was empty %26amp; I thought that would be a fun one for her to learn on, esp. if she got the bonus. Looked at the credits %26amp; saw there were $3 left on it. Asked players to the left %26amp; to the right if they were playing that machine. No one was, so she got a free lesson, starting at 5 lines %26amp; on up, til the $3 was gone. She was thrilled and got the idea of how a penny slot works with no cash being spent. She is VERY frugal.
It was fun %26amp; made a good story when we got home.
$8.00 I wouldnt sweat...I have had tickets for $3.00 and $4.00 that I have either given to people right before I left or to a cocktail waitress that took good care of me. on the other hand, I have also come across machines with credits or been given tickets by others leaving in the same fashion. call it luck, karma, whatever. now, if you see the person drop or forget it, be it $1 or $100...thats another story...
How would you ever find the rightful owner of that piece of paper? If you bring it to lost %26amp; found someone else will cash it. If there was no one around and no one looking for it, then it%26#39;s definitely finders keepers. I hope you enjoyed every cent of it.
I was eating at a restaurant and left $700 cash on my seat - can you believe I forgot it? I immediately went back in and it was gone. EVERYONE played dumb. Thems the breaks!
The silver lining was that that my marriage didn%26#39;t break up (during those poor, early years.) Of course, it took a year of hindsight to see the lining %26amp; a decade to actually laugh about it. I laugh, at least, my other half doesn%26#39;t - lol!
It%26#39;s only money . . .
