Spirit Air

Has anyone flown on this airline? I%26#39;m booked next Friday from Boston to Vegas via Detroit. Curious to know if there is in-flight movie. I don%26#39;t think there is individual TV%26#39;s. No info on their site.

We flew Spirit this past June. Everything was okey-dokey. No TVs, no movies, but cheap , cheap, cheap. They have been lately posting some $79 each way, Detroit to Vetas. Sign up to get their e-mails.

No movie, no frills, no problems. I rarely take Spirit because it is mostly red-eyes to and from vegas out of Det....although they have added some better flight times recently. Their planes and service are good

I used Spirit last year, but it was not to Vegas. We flew to Orlando and had an emergency landing. Ended up sitting in the Louisville airport for 6 hours. Anyway, I e-mailed the headquarters when I got home about the way we were treated from the delay and each person in my family received $100 travel voucher. So that payed for half of our upcoming flight.

Flew Spirit from R.I. to Florida a few years ago. Looked the plane was put together with spare parts from other planes with different color seats. The overhead seatbelt warning lights didn%26#39;t work. My seat had no cushion left in the cushion was attached improperly, leaving me to sit on a hard pipe all the way home (there were no other seats available). I called to complain after I got home and got 10 percent off a future flight.....big deal. I was really scared the plane wouldn%26#39;t make it. Oh, the customer rep said they were in the midst of replacing their older planes (which we were on) with newer ones.

Used to fly spirit all the time when we lived in Michigan and they still flew to Colorado. Rock bottom rates and decent enough service, etc. for a bargain airline. We never really had any complaints about any of the flights we took with them. But, unless they%26#39;ve changed it, no in-flight entertainment or any kind. Best to bring your own. :)
