Bally´s or MGM Grand? Please help me!!

Hi, I am from Spain. Me and my girlfriend(we arer 30 year old) are going to stay 4 days in Las Vegas, from 7 to 11 September.

We have planned stay 2 last days at Montecarlo, for 140$ each night.

But the first 2 days we dont know what to do, Ballýs or MGM Grand, both hotels cost same 140$ each night.

Other option is stay all 4 days in Montecarlo but I think may be its more funny try different hotels.

Its our first time in Las Vegas, and may be the last...so we want a great stay!

Please, help !!!!

If you have to change hotels RUIPI and you don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll ever be back, choose MGM. There is no way I would stay at Bally%26#39;s for $140.

If it was me, I%26#39;d stay at the Monte Carlo for the whole trip.

Why change? Both the MGM and Bally%26#39;s are within a short distance of the Monte Carlo...I wouldn%26#39;t change hotels unless I was say switching to the Wynn for a couple of nights.

But if you must, Bally%26#39;s is much better than the MGM for 2 reasons:

1. MGM has lousy service and Bally%26#39;s doesn%26#39;t

2. Bally%26#39;s has a much better location

Yes, the MGM has better restaurants and a better pool, but what%26#39;s the point of all of that if you get lousy service???

I was thinking foreign tourists and a one time thing.

You don%26#39;t know how hard it was for me to recommend MGM.

Yeah maybe for a 1 time thing the MGM may offer a better ';overall experience';...

RUIPI skip las Vegas all together and just go to Marbella and Porto Banus...Gamble there instead and then sit by the beach and eat Langostinos! Ahh, I love Spain! :)

tomvegas: Your not gonna belive it but I just leave Marbella yesterday, wonderful as you said, and Puerto Banus is great, but My girlfriend is going to Chicago to study and we have planned before a california-by-car trip, and our finnal stage is Las Vegas.

We really dont mind poor service at the hotel, we want an impresive hotel .Our plan is walk and see all the hotels.3rd day want to go to Gran Canyon by plane.

Bally%26#39;s rooms are bigger, better location, better service, and it%26#39;s connected to the (very impressive) Paris, you have all privledges at both hotels.

Some of the newer MGM rooms are decent, but the older rooms can be downright dismal. The only advantage MGM has over Bally%26#39;s is nicer pools, but no deep end.

First of all, MGM suckks.

That being said, Monte Carlo is BY FAR the best of those choices so stay the whole time there and you dont have to move. There is NO reason to move from one 3 star strip hotel to another 3 star trip hotel for a couple days.

Its a BIG WASTE of time.

Much of you are recommending not to change hotel and stay 4 nights at Monte Carlo, It seem to be a very good hotel but I liked to try differentes hotels. may its not a good idea.

Is Montecarlo so good?

Ballys is very good location, and as you said (I didnt know) is close to Paris and you can use pool of both hotels

MGM seems is too big.

May be I stay 4 nights in Montecarlo or 2 Montecarlo and 2 Ballys.

Dont know what to do,need more comments and recomendations, please

Considering that it%26#39;s a one time trip, (maybe your only trip ever) you might want to look at some solid four/five star hotels such as Mirage, Bellagio, Venetian, or even Paris. They all have great locations and most have very good pool areas. It is much more expensive to stay at these hotels on the weekend so stay either your first or last night. You might want to only stay one night instead of two to reduce the price impact.

maier: I have reduced the search for these 3 Hotels, and have not much money to afford the hotels you say.

My question is:?

2 days at Ballys and 2 days at Montecarlo or

2 days at MGM Grand and 2 days at Montecarlo or

all 4 days at Montecarlo

Please, choose for me!!!
