best offers for play during August

Anyone have any idea which casino will issue the most amount of slot machine or food credit for the amount played? I have a lot of player%26#39;s cards but cannot possibly play at all casinos on strip. So, I want to concentrate of the one%26#39;s who will offer me the best offers to return to their casino. Unless someone has a better idea how all of this works.

let me rephrase this question: is it better to pay at several casinos with smaller amounts or play at one as far as tracking play. Are there some casinos that it is worthwhile to step and play $20-50 just to activate the card? And are there some casinos that it is worthwhile to play $100-500?

Even though casinos are related under each card.. harrahs mgm-- etc.. you should stick to one casino.. they will give comps if they see.. consistant play..and length play. I gamble at Bellagio and do most of my playing there.. they comp me reasonable for my stay. However my avg bet is aroung $75 per hand. They give me great offers.. especially in the off season.

New card members have an advantage. they want you back asap. Harrahs will have mailing to you within a week. With great room rates for their properties. Howver harrahs is very hard to get addtional comps. Most places will not send you promtional items unless you gamble x amount of dollars. ask at the card member services desk.

I am leaving for my ';fun'; trip to vegas on Tuesday. right now --do to my play at the bellagio they offered me a Tues- Sun stay that avgs about $100 a night (Sunday night was $299-- so the 5 days was a steal--Lakeview) I am planning to do most of my gambling there. I will be swnding a trip report when I get back and I will let you know if any additional comps come my way.

Thanks. I have a players card with the Rio but have not been using it much. a great benefit is I don%26#39;t have to wait in the regular line for check-in . I have played quite a bit at Harrahs in Reno %26amp; Tahoe in the past but that doesn%26#39;t apply to Harrahs in Las Vegas. I consider Harrahs really backwards when my play in their other casinos doesn%26#39;t count. Also, I can%26#39;t even cash a check in Las Vegas because Harrah%26#39;s doesn%26#39;t even share information with their own casinos! Stupid if you ask me!

You should do most of your gambling in whatever hotel you are staying at - they might comp you at the end of your stay. If you play the slots or VP machines check Players Edge in the Neon section of the Las Vegas Review Journal (on line) on the Friday before youir visit. They list any promotions going on (for such things as double points) for the varioius casinos. It changes each Friday.

Thanks for the info about Players Edge vp03. I will definitely check that out. Just came back from a video poker afternoon at my local Indian casino and am ready for LV on Monday, 8/21/06. As I mentioned, I am staying at the RIo, planning to visit the Palms to try out their VP machines, Hard Rock because I have food and slot credit and Alladin because I enjoyed it there last year. Will report when I get back if there is anything I believe worthwhile to report.

Well, I seem to have this happen to me regularly. I never seem to do very well at video poker or slot machines at places that advertise a high payout and this trip was no different. The fact is those number are meaningless for a short visit whether it is a a few days or a week. So, I visited the Palms, based on positive info in response to my prior posting, on two days and played video poker without any luck. Saw the signs advertising 100% payback. Not for me! The only thing I walked out with was their ';camp'; shirt which looks like a black and white hawaiian shirt to me. That ';free'; shirt given to first time visitors who get 1,000 points cost me a small bundle! Well here is the ironicaly part: I was staying at the Rio and the second day there I hit a Royal Flush on a quarter rmachine! My first royal in Las Vegas and first w-2g in my life. So, of course I love the Rio!
