Cost Of Buffets! And the best ones? You can go search google and get lots of sites like this one:
http://www.vegasbuffets.com/
However I do not think any of the web sites have up tp date price info.
As to which is best is impossible to answer. You can spend $36 for the worst most expensive one in town at the Rio Seafood buffet, or $13 for a really good one at Orleans.
Cost Of Buffets! And the best ones?I am no longer a great fan of buffets but I can give a rough idea of the prices(for dinner)
Bellagio- $27-35- depending on the day.
Wynn- $32-34. Sat-sun brunch- $24or 30 (with champagne).
Mirage- $23
Paris-$25
Monte Carlo-$20
Alladin-$25
TI-$20-26
Orleans-$13-17 (depending on the day)
Rio- $24; Seafood (listen to VHB on this one) $35.
My all-time FAVORTIE buffet (for breakfast) is at Paris. It%26#39;s not that far from Monte Carlo, you could walk there. Long lines, maybe $20 or so per person, but TOTALLY worth every penny. Doesn%26#39;t matter where we stay, we always at least try to eat there every trip. Very, very good food with an unbeliveable variety of items.
I agree that Paris has a great breakfast buffet. Although you may have to wait in line for a long time. We waited for about 30 mins in July but it was worth it. We also enjoyed Bellagio buffet breakfast which was $15.
Here%26#39;s a trick we learned last year. If you%26#39;re willing to spend a little time, and eat dinner on the early side, you can go at the end of lunch, pay the lunch price and wait till they start serving dinner. We did this at Bellagio and saved about $15 per person.......
OGA23,
For Bellagio, this trick was good about 8 years ago when switch between lunch and dinner was something like 4:30 5 PM....now it%26#39;s 3PM
Last year (exactly) Paris switch was 5:30Pm.....now it%26#39;s 3:30PM.....and the buffet have a one hour gap between the switch as well.....unlike before, it was an instant change.
Orleans buffet is a good value for the dollar 6 days a week....do not go to Orleans for seafood night....at $16.99, there are better buffet for that price.
They have gone way up since then. Monte Carlo does not have good variety, but I can find a good meal there..good for dinner, the price isn%26#39;t as bad as some
Go at lunch price to the good ones, the layouts are almost the same as dinner Mandalay Bay, Aladdin, Paris, Mirage, MGM, Rio are good at $17 lunch Bellagio, %26amp;Wynn are pricier and better
Bargain price and OK food, Palms
I am not a huge fan of buffets, but I recently went to the one ot the Wynn, and it was the best buffet I%26#39;ve seen, as well as having the nicest ambience (atrium with tall fresh flower topiaries).
One of the best buffets I ever had in Vegas was this year at the South Coast which is about 5 miles south of Trop on the Blvd. A huge selection and it was only $12.95. Well worth the short trip. Plus we got to see the Welcome to Vegas sign on the way back each time!

Other than that, Alladin%26#39;s Buffet is probably the best in Vegas for a few years now, at least for the money.

So just what makes an outstanding breakfast buffet? I%26#39;m staying at Luxor and because I%26#39;m on a tight schedule, probably won%26#39;t have time to make it up to Paris. In fact, a cafe breakfast should be plenty. Never tried a morning buffet. However, buffet prices seem pretty good.
Seems like eggs, ham or bacon, toast, potatoes - some fresh fruit should hold anyone for hours. So what is on the breakfast buffet that makes you really enjoy?
By the way, last year I had lunch at the Monte Carlo buffet and thought it was just fine. Not fancy, but the service was pleasant. Plenty of variety for my taste - Oriental, Mexican, plenty of meats and average desserts. Neat and clean and no complaints.
