CP cab dropoff ??

Going to Vegas Sept 3-12. Staying at the RIO Sept 3 - 10, then moving to Caesars Palace on Sunday the 10th. Are there 1 or 2 entrances to have the taxi drop us off at??? Our rooms are in the Augustus Tower. Can we get dropped off there, or is registration at Caesars all at one main desk??

The Augustus Tower has a separate entrance. Of course, you can access the rest of the casino from there, but it is separate.

I was wandering the same thing---we are staying in the Augustus Tower in Feb.....do we register at the main desk or in the area that they drop us off for the tower. Please write a TR when you get back and let me know how you did it ok? Thanks

casinomomma, when we were there in February, I registered at the airport. I just like the idea that my husband can collect the luggage while I register us and we eliminate one waiting period. I was actually booked into the Centurion Tower and got an upgrade to the Augustus Tower at the airport. We, also, usually use the shuttle and it dropped us off at the entrance to the Augustus Tower.

When we go in October (46 days from now....but, who%26#39;s counting) I will check in at the airport, again, but probably cab it to the hotel. There is a separate registration desk in the Augustus Tower, I think, but, as I said, haven%26#39;t used it.

Was just there in July and there are two drops, one out front and one by the Augustus Tower. The checkin I saw for the AT was for Diamond Card members and all others had to check in in the main line. My memory is starting to fade a bit, time to get back and refresh!

Thank you LVescape and EandM----your info. was very helpful, and we will try checking in at the airport---We will take a cab over to CP and ask to be dropped off at the AT.----how was the rooms there LVescape? we%26#39;ve never stayed there before, last time we were there we stayed at the Mirage and Paris.

casinomama, the room was awesome. I found the earth tone color scheme to be very soothing. The bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take it with me, but it wouldn%26#39;t fit in my suitcase. The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub and a large walk-in shower with glass and marble all over. There was a double vanity, a flat screen TV and a separate ';water closet';. Our room was on the 31st or 32nd floor and had a direct view of the Bellagio fountains. The amenities in the room itself included a large plasma screen TV with all sorts of connections to it, additional seating and table and chairs. There are vents under the windows to allow fresh air to circulate. Like EandM, my memory is fading, but will refresh it in 45 days.

Sounds great!! glad we got rooms there---We will be staying at Paris for 3 nights and 2 nights at CP....Can%26#39;t wait to go---but Feb. is still a long way off....can/t wait to read your TR when you get back.....Good Luck!!!! have fun!.
