i%26#39;m just curious, is wayne done performing?? i%26#39;ve never seen him, but i%26#39;ve heard from someone that saw him perform several months ago that his voice aint what it used to be. i wish i woulda seen him back when he still had a good voice. i hear he was a good entertainer.
did wayne newton retire?
He still performs @ Flamingo. Wayne has done a lot of location changes in the last couple of years since Stardust refused to extend his contrat. Wayne is a lot like No-Show George Jones, he often does not show up for a scheduled performance.
IMHo he is not worth the ticket price, however the senior crowds still seem to enjoy his show when he bothers to show up.

Aw c%26#39;mon VHomes, W. Newton is STILL about the best Vegas show around. His voice is not good, BUT the way his mike is mixed and the with the band turned up, you really don%26#39;t notice it that much.
We paid $60 a ticket 3 years ago and got our money%26#39;s worth, especially seeing all the blue-hairs swoon when Wayne%26#39;s plastic face and lips planted one on them. THAT was priceless and he does still try very hard to put on a great SHOW. At least when he%26#39;s there I guess...
';His voice is not good,';
That is an understatement. Like I said, some still like it, but after 40-years of the same ole act, it is not for me.
I hear Don Ho puts on a good show when sober!
I saw him earlier this year. He cannot sing a note anymore, not a single one! He just kind of barked/groaned/smiled/winked. It was unintentionally funny. We had a great time.
If you go, be sure to have a sense of humor and a few drinks.

C%26#39;mon think like a stinkin TOURIST., not like some sort of ';Vegas EXPERT';.
Like I said, we saw The Newt exactly ONCE and it was fine.
According to Las Vegas Advisor
Wayne Newton has closed at the Flamingo. He’s expected to open at Harrah’s later this year.
A good friend of mine went to see him and said his voice is almost non existant. Very sad, but you can%26#39;t do it forever.
Wayne Newton is coming to visit us in Niagara Falls this October!! He comes to play at our Fallsview Casino a few times a year. I haven%26#39;t had the pleasure of going to see him but they charge about $67 a ticket to go.
