First time in Vegas

Hi everybody,

I%26#39;ll be my first time in vegas. I%26#39;ll be there on september 3.

I%26#39;ve already booked for some expensive show, cirque and celine. But I want to know if you can suggest us some non-expensive show that it will be good to see (magician show...)

Also, I read about the restaurant. I want to know if you have some good restaurant not too expensive but really good to suggest? They don%26#39;t need to be on the strip.

And finally, could you recommand us good place to play slots?

Thank you!

P.S. Sorry for my english!

First time in Vegas

Play a little bit on a lot of different slots in a lot of different casinos. never stick with one casino and certain do not put all your money in one machine.

catch the Dirk Arthur magic show in the afternoons at the Tropicana, you may win free or 2/1 tickets at the slot by the entrance.

First time in Vegas

Good VEGAS Restaurants:

Rosemary%26#39;s - Continental

Andre%26#39;s (Downtown) - Frenchy

Hugo%26#39;s Cellar - Steak/Seafood

Lotus of Siam - Maybe Best THAI in U.S.

Chicago Joes - Italian

LIindo Michoacan - Mexican

All are SOLID choices and good value for the money.

Andre%26#39;s and Hugo%26#39;s are both exellent restaurants but I would not say they are ';not too expensive.';

Steve

I can%26#39;t believe it! No EI????

Steve,

What%26#39;s up with you,,,,,,,,,no mention of the world famous EI Steak special.

Doctor for Steve

You should also check out Batista%26#39;s (probably have spelled it wrong) fabulous food, large portions excellent value for the money, wine is included with the meal

Thank you !

Thank you !

I have to disagree with the Batista%26#39;s suggestion. It really is a poor Hole In The Wall. It has become a tourist trap with cheap wine and food that is not that good. If you want good Italian food-look elsewhere.

Wait a MINUTE. HOLd your horses--something is wrong here.

First, Stauchsteve does not mention Ellis Island and the World Famous $4.95 Steak.

Secondly, Vp03, the most level-headed person on this site who never has anything bad to say about anything or anybody (with the exception of Vodkaxx), bashes a restaurant recommended by another person?

Something is wrong here. Have we got imposters? Has somebody hijacked their names?

I think this qualifies for an FBI investigation.
