Harrah's, Mardi Gras or Carnaval Tower?

I%26#39;ll be there next week and both of these towers have been recommended here by different posters.

Is there a consensus?

Which should I request @ checkin?

Carnaval Tower - its newer. Ask for a high floor and a quiet room.

I%26#39;ve stayed in both towers and really did not notice much different in the furnishings. Mardi Gras has small balconies which Carnaval does not. Our room in Mardi Gras was facing towards the Venetian and we had a view of TI and on to Stardust but it was over the AC system. I did not mind that though because it drowned out any other noise when we were sleeping! Carnval is accessed through the lobby and Mardi Gras right by the Keno area. I don%26#39;t remember what view we had in the Carnaval Tower, might have been the parking gargage, so ask for a strip view if that matters to you.

Carnavale Tower elevator bank is right next to a Starbucks. That would clinch it for me.
