just a little safety question........

hi there.not gonna get too paranoid over this .

we r gonna hit vegas in jan 07 and have a fab time...........

however if there is one bit of safety advise u can offer my son age 24 and his mate who are both coming to vegas with us........( mum and dad )

what will that be.???

as we dont plan to be together all the time...........but sometimes my mind starts rolling over ( like a mum does ) and thinking of all sorts........

we r from the uk.............and really looking forward to our trip....

just a little safety question........

LV is a pretty safe place and especially so if you stick to the well populated areas, which is pretty much anywhere on the strip.

Law enforcement is pretty significant and visible...as is casino security.

Just be sensible and take the normal precautions you might in any big city...

One piece of advice: Try not to get so stinking drunk that you lose your sensibilities...

Just have fun....

suppose its a case of watching there drinks etc, get cabs late at night, dont get falling down drunk (ish!)

just the same as you would say here. like my mam always says (im 33 too!) ';stick together, no wondering off';

take it from a young man, let them get on with it, dont be too protective, i am sure they have plans a foot already!

I went to Vegas alone in 2003. My hotel was on the Strip and I felt very safe at all times of day and night on the Strip. I did not wander off the Strip since that wouldn%26#39;t be sensible for a lone woman. Your guys will be fine.

I have gone to Vegas numerous times alone ( female). I have been on the strip and downtown (and other off strip places) during the day and at night. In about 60 trips nothing- and I mean NOTHING- bad has ever happened to me. If he uses common sense he will be fine.

no....yju are not the type to mouth off ..thy just enjoy a reall good time....so we will be glad that thy will be able to have a good time....

just silly me.....worrying too much...

usual thing. only take out with you the essentials. IE enough money for that night and maybe one card. Photo copy of your passport. Leave the rest in safe. also a good trick is old wallet with waste paper in back pocket and main one in front pocket. Always split money if two of you are going out. This applies to any main cities not just LV.

Don%26#39;t forget to wear that hat. Thats sure to keep pickpockets away as you will be drawing plenty of attention HAHAHA.
