poker tournaments

Is it advisable to sign up for the daily poker tournaments ahead of time? Before going to Vegas? Can you call to sign up or do you have to go to the casino to register? How far in advance?

I don%26#39;t know about signing up prior to arriving.

Here%26#39;s a link of what is available.

TI has one called the ';Sit and Go'; which begins whenever ten people show up and want to play. I want ot say $50.

Try this site for what%26#39;s available.

All of the tournaments that I have played in only let you sign up in person and pay cash. They generally don%26#39;t begin registration until a couple of hours before the start. If there are no rebuys/add-ons, most will let you come in late after someone has busted out if you get there too late to get a spot, but I%26#39;ve never had a problem 30 minutes before the start. Good luck!

Just get there before the tourney start. If you%26#39;re there an hour early, you%26#39;ll get in just fine. If you go 30 minutes early, then you%26#39;ll probably be an alternate and have to wait a bit. Granted, you%26#39;ll be in a seat in about 10-20 minutes, but then all the sudden you can be at a table with someone with a nice big chip stack.
