we plan on going to vegas in october and we have it narrowed down to these 4 hotels. which one should we stay at? id rather stay at the bellagio or MGM, but we can%26#39;t afford it. would like to hear some opinions on the 4 places that we have it narrowed down to.
thanks!!!!!
riviera, sahara, circus circus or stratosphere?
They all STINK.
Stardust would be fine (unless its been blowed up by then).
';Staying'; on the Strip is highly overrated AND overpriced.
Orleans is THE BEST ';cheap'; hotel in Las Vegas, period...
riviera, sahara, circus circus or stratosphere?
If it has to be one of those four, I%26#39;d choose the Riviera.
Nasty.
What about one of the Coast properties? Perhaps Bally%26#39;s, Harrahs, or the Flamingo.
At least it won%26#39;t be deadly hot in October, but you should really reconsider being in a more desirable neighborhood.
Those 4 are just bad choices. There are better places to stay that aren%26#39;t as expensive as the Bellagio or MGM.
dwright29: I%26#39;ve stayed at all of those mentioned..once...and would never stay at them again...Very undesirable location on the strip, IMO...course, you may like them...even stayed at the HO, now gone...why not chose a hotel/casino closer to everything? Even downtown (which I like) is better...or the Gold Coast or Orleans for about the same cost...

This is THE best website there is for the ';straight scoop'; on every Las Vegas Hotel/Casino and should help you:
http://www.cheapovegas.com/index.php
nice staunch! cheapovegas is the shniz.
dwright, it depends if you are getting a car, what you want to do, etc.
when are you going?
we%26#39;re booked at the strat for vegoose
I can%26#39;t believe those are the only choices. BLEH. It the reason is price, I agree with Steve - The Orleans was both affordable and clean/comfortable/safe. It is off strip but I%26#39;d take it any day over the others you listed. They have a shuttle and I%26#39;d deal with that before staying at any of the others. Or Barbary Coast so you at least get a good location out of the deal?
the riviera is not that bad at all, besides the horrible location.
jungle... I believe you meant ';choose';.
steve... Did you catch that acurate comparison?
';id rather stay at the bellagio or MGM';
dwright... Don%26#39;t let these people scare you. If thats your budget then there you go. All of your choices are clean, dated yes, and will offer you a good time. I haven%26#39;t stayed at any of them, but I%26#39;m sure they are inspected from time to time.
You might try the rates at the Tropicana (great pool) for the same time. Again an older property, but budjet and a lot of fun.
If you are serious why not consider the Excalibur. It has comparable prices but with a good location on the strip.
