TI or Mirage?

I am going to Vegas for 4 nights during Christmas %26amp; I have booked a room at TI but for a little bit more I can stay at the Mirage. I%26#39;ve read all the reviews about both hotels and I do like the idea of staying at a larger hotel. Last time we stayed at MGM %26amp; loved it but this time I want to stay at the other end of the strip. I do know that the Mirage has a really nice pool area but I don%26#39;t think that will matter in December. One thing I like about the MGM is the food court. We would run to McDonalds %26amp; grad a quick breakfast %26amp; take off. So if you had to choose between the two which one would you pick %26amp; why?

Thanks!

TI or Mirage?

In December when a pool is not an issue, I would go for TI. We have stayed at both and I prefer the rooms at Ti. Especially if you can swing a Tower room or Petit Suite at Ti. Besides there is a tram that runs between the two properties which is fast and convenient so if you are staying at one it is almost like staying at the other.

TI or Mirage?

The pool @ the Mirage is its best feature, but during Christmas it doesnt come into play. Mirage is always crowded and but has more places to eat. TI is a little more laid back. If the price is cheaper get a nicer room @ TI.

Agreed. TI%26#39;s rooms are a bit nicer, but Mirage has a nicer casino and grounds. Without the pool being an issue I say it%26#39;s a toss up so go with the better price. Right across the street at O%26#39;sheas they have a Burger King so you can satisfy your junk food cravings....Have fun.

I%26#39;d go with the Mirage. We just liked the whole atmosphere of it better than TI. Also felt the less expensive dining options are better . . . and a tad bit closer to dining in the Forum Shops and the food court area at Caesars (which we like). The Roasted Bean and deli at Mirage have very good sandwiches. The Caribe Cafe is one of the best 24 hour coffee shops around.

Stay at The Mirage. Probably too cold to swim but it might be warm enough to sit by the pool, it is open unless the weather is cold and rainy. Lots more and better places to eat. Next door to the forum shops, more places to eat and shop. McDonalds across the street next to Harrah%26#39;s.

The TI is looking a bit old now. Needs a refurbishment.

I just came back from TI and I dont think the rooms look old, TI is not the Bellagio but TI has very clean rooms, with good mattresses, the customer service is great, less smoke in the casino and I like their coffee shop and I am a picky eater.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think what I might do is keep our reservations at TI %26amp; upgrade to a room with a strip view. Have any of you stayed in this type of room before?
