Are there dress codes for any of the nice steakhouses? Circus? Binions? Hugos? Or any other restaurants in Vegas that we should know about??? Thanks again.....
Dress codes?
do a search - this is discussed often. wear what is appropriate in any town for comparable establishments.
Dress codes?
I understand I have the option of doing a search but if possible would like to save the time of going through dozens of posts that do not benifit me. Put in (dress codes) and you get threads for clubs, bars, lounges and restaurants that I am not interested in going to. So, if anyone has been to the specific places I have mentioned your help would be appreciated. In my home town we have many very nice dinner establishmens and both my husband and I have worn shorts and nice shorts to all of them. But I know in Los Angeles the very same restaurants have dress codes so knowing in advance would help in Vegas. Thanks again for those of you that help...
oops, meant shorts and nice shirts....
since you want info on those specific restaurants check the webpages - they will tell you exactly. i applaud you wanting to know - too many people think LV is totally casual, which it is not, but definitely more so than many other places.
there is a lot of variety in interpretation.
as a side note, some places do not enforce as tightly as others, the ones that are usually are ';no shorts'; and ';no jeans';.
for dinner we would never go anwhere except a diner type place or similar in shorts, say gran lux - that is very casual at all times since it is basically a fancy diner.
caliqurl, I%26#39;ve heard here on this forum that the steak house at the Orleans is PDG. I looked at their menu and the prices seemed reasonable(Check the Orleans website). Maybe somebody else has been their.
All you need is a wallet.
vhb,
