lunch suggestions?

One day we%26#39;ll need to grab lunch at either the Sahara or the Stratosphere. The next day we%26#39;ll need lunch somewhere downtown. Any suggestions?

For lunch downtown I%26#39;d suggest the Carson Street Cafe in the Golden Nugget. Entry line can get long though during peak hours. Off peak, it%26#39;s a walk in. The food is very good there IMO and prices are reasonable.

My fellow Clevelander, do yourself a favor skip either Strat or Sahara

and go to Mon Ami Gabi, sit outside and have the seafood crepes,

Thanks everyone. Sahara is a must this trip for us as the husband wants to play in their poker tournament at 11am. We%26#39;ve never been to the Stratosphere before, so, we thought since we would be in the general vicinity, we%26#39;d stop in for the experience.

One of these times we need to go to Mon Ami Gabi. We%26#39;ve stayed at the Paris twice and have yet to eat there. Just stumbled upon this forum in the last six months or so. Had I found it before, I would%26#39;ve known back then how high of an opinion everyone has of Mon Ami Gabi.

As for Commanders Palace.....I love their breakfast as well!

You won%26#39;t be too far away from the Peppermill (near Sahara), which is fantastic. Went there 3 times on my last trip.

Also there is the White Cross Pharmacy ( near the Strat). I have never been there but Lilbunnygirl raved so highly of it that I plan on going there in 2 weeks when I am in LV.
