I am SOOO happy!

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my excitment. I have been having ear problems all summer and wasn%26#39;t sure if I would be able to fly to LV this next week. I saw the specialist today and he cleared me for takeoff!!! I can%26#39;t concentrate on anything else anymore all I want to do is go. Anyway, we are staying at Bally%26#39;s so I have a fews questions...roughly how much will a cab ride from the airport to Bally%26#39;s cost...tip? We have never ben to vegas so any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

YEAH!

I am SOOO happy!

Good to ';hear'; your ears are ok.Cab fare should be NO more than $15. It%26#39;s always around $11-$13 to the Bellagio and Bally%26#39;s is right across the street. A $3 tip should be fine depending on the amount of bags. Have FUN!!!

I am SOOO happy!

I loved reading the joy in your post. Have a great time, especially after a summer of problems.

Thanks! You have no idea how pumped I am right now, I have been thinking I would have to cancel my very first trip to Vegas and my bery first trip with my husband.

It answers just about any question you might have.

Take the airport shuttle to Bally%26#39;s - cost about $10.00 round trip (includes trip back to airport.)

oh sounds good, is it $10 per person?(sorry if thats a stupid question). Where do you catch the shuttle?? Should we check in the airport?

Shuttles to all airorts are located right outside the baggage claim area. You don%26#39;t need a reservation.

I would take a cab. It is much quicker. The shuttles stop at many hotels along the way. I don%26#39;t know where Bally%26#39;s is on the list. The cab line looks ridiculously long, but it actually moves pretty quickly.

Well, you just start packing and while you%26#39;re packing, dream of good times!

Do you plan on leaving the hotel room?

The experts on this forum could give you sound advice if they knew just a bit more info on what ';tips'; you were looking for:-)

Have a great time!

Congrats! One of the biggest tips I can offer is to not over plan. Try and be open with your days and not cram too much into it. Its impossible to do it all in just a few days and I think people who try miss out. Its more about quality vs quantity. Read the reviews, go to vegas.com, check out other websites and decide what few things you most want to do. Separate those out into your days and then fill in the space around them. Also - try and get some rest time in in the afternoon. We found that taking a break in the middle of the day allowed us to stay up just a bit later and then not be so tired the next day. Whatever you do - have a blast!

Have a great time! We are staying at Bally%26#39;s in October so I am looking forward to your TR!
