Luxor Pool Hours

I can%26#39;t seem to find this info on the Luxor site, but wonder how late the pool stays open. From earlier posts, it sounds like pools close early, which seems a real shame.

Can you sit by the pool late into the evening?

In the summer they close at 7 pm. When we were there in July they only had 2 of the 4 pools open; a shame. I was there mid-week; maybe they have all 4 open on weekends when it%26#39;s busier?

It was too hot to sit more than an hour out there in the day and the water is only 3.5 feet deep so really only good for jumping in and cooling off. But it%26#39;s a pretty pool area and there are little benches out in the middle to sit and some fountains and misters.

The pool closes early. Does that mean for swimming only, or do they close off the entire area. Nightime by the water seems like such a nice idea. I can%26#39;t imagine closing the area before 10pm or so.

Honestly, being from the desert southwest, I can%26#39;t imagine sitting out in the mid-day sun at 100 degrees. It%26#39;s the evening when we start enjoying the outdoors.

I think the whole area must close; but I wasn%26#39;t ever out there that late. But you have to show your room key to an attendant to go out there so they probably don%26#39;t staff it after 7 p.m.

Maybe they don%26#39;t want to have to pay to staff the area past that time?

I agree it would be nice to at least be able to walk around or sit by the pool as in other resorts I%26#39;ve been to.

Just an FYI too....the pool doesnt open very early either......we came back to our rooms at 8am after a night of partying and felt like a refreshing dip in the pool......denied at the door by some goon security dude....my buddy snuck in anyway...

Talked to Luxor and beginning in early September, pool hours are 8am to 7pm. I would have thought guests would have loved to sit out by the pool at sunset.

Oh well, guess the hotel would rather have you inside gambling.
