Whats the best way to get from Phoenix to Vegas
America West/USair have like 12 flights a day betwn PHX and Las Vegas not too mention another few a day by Southwest...That should be a very cheap cooridor as the flight is about 35 minutes if I remember...Can%26#39;t imagine it costing you more than $150 r/t tops...America west vacations has good package deals too.

you may want to consider driving --- I used to live in Tempe and drove all the time. Now with the stricter airport security you need to be at the airport up to three hours in advance check your luggage and fly. The flight is about and hour and can take up to an hour to get out of the airport and to the hotel. It is a 5.5 hour drive ti vegas.
We flew from Phoenix to Vegas this summer and it was great. The flight was supposed to be an hour and 4 minutes, but it was only about 48 minutes. I think it was about $100 per person, but it was only one way since we came back east after that.
I lived in Phoenix and drove there and to Laughlin many times (before the bridge when you had to go through Needles) and its a LOOOOONG drive. I%26#39;d fly now, but then now like Dave Chapelle says, '; I%26#39;m RICH BI*CH!';
Def spend the $100 and fly.
BTW... depending on traffic, flying from PHX to LAS in a 737/757/319 should never take more than 1 hour.
Hi
we%26#39;ve just got back from Vegas and Phoenix and did both ways of getting in between. We flew from Vegas on America West, it was about a 40 min flight in air, but obviously longer with boarding, taxiing etc. Anyway it took from leaving hotel in Vegas (Venetian) to arriving at Sky Harbour aprrox 4 hrs, then we had transfer to Hotel in Phoenix. Our flight back would have been day after huge security clampdown folowing terrorist threat, I was told had to be in airport 3 hrs before departure, couldn%26#39;t bear to think of all queues, confusion and checks so decided to drive. It took us 6 hours door to door, including stop for lunch in Kingman and a couple of other toilet breaks (got two bots with me, one who decided to buy a 640z coke at beginning of journey!) There was no traffic at all, the scenery was quite pleasant, and we even got to stop off at Hoover Dam for photo shoot. Traffic in Vegas was busy but it was mid afternoon on a Friday. We got to our hotel in outskirts of Vegas just as our plane would have been landing at airport if it was all on time. Anyway think I%26#39;m trying to say, drive, it was an experience and took about same time, but perhaps more physical effort, and a lot less stress
Just my two penneth
Lynne
Sorry, had two BOYS with me, not bots in case you all wondering!
