old electronic horse race games?

In a local casino my husband and I have been known to have a few drinks and play this game. You know the one, the six horse running in the dome. The one where Murphy%26#39;s Las ALWAYS stinks. Are there any of these games on the strip or did they ship ALL of them to Northern Michigan with all of the other relics. Would love to know where before we go.

Thanks

Did you have to shoot a water pistol at a target to get the horses to move or did you just let the computer do it%26#39;s thing?

Loved the water pistol version!

BTW, none that I know of in the casinos!

Are you kidding about the water pistol thing? If you are not - you are really old. Just kidding.

Hey MJM 1969

I am not far from you, in MQT....

The horse games---I saw a couple when I was in LV in June....I think there was one at MGM...and maybe one other one at a casino as I recall...they are a bit more diffiult to find but still availble last June.

We are talking quarters here right? Under the dome....

Anyway...have agreat time in LV....I am headed there next week, though I doubt I will play the mechanical horses :-).

Go %26#39;Hounds...

yup, really old...said good bye to the last century under a disco ball while singing %26#39;we will rock you';.

It doesn%26#39;t get any better than being a boomer!

I think Flamingo still has one...

I just got back from Las Vegas, and the game that you are asking about is at the New Frontier. It%26#39;s located in front of the sports bar just passed the check-in counter.

Thanks - don%26#39;t dog the horse races! Hee Hee! It is a place to hang out and have a few drinks. I have actually managed to win a bit of money. It is crazy how excited you can get watching those pathetic little things jerk around the track. I have even stood up and cheered. OK - I had more then a few drinks. One time everyone around the dome had bet the long shot and it came in 999 to 1. Now that was a fun thing to watch. Just a silly game get giddy around.

thanks for your kind replies

I have to qualify my interest in this topic. In my town the main bar in SSM Michigan still places ';Stroke It'; to a full dance floor. It doesn%26#39;t take much to entertain me at this point.

It%26#39;s called Sigma Derby and one can be found at MGM.

I was at MGM last Nov. and they had one there.

The one at the Frontier was still there about 2 weeks ago.
