Hi,

Got some concerns about IP. I am booked up to go in november for 7 nights but have read some bad reviews on this site. All we need the room for is a bed and shower won%26#39;t be spending much time in their at all really. Judging by recent reviews is it really as run down and dirty as people say?

We were on a budget when we booked but it%26#39;s location made us choose over others.

If a place to sleep with so so accomodations is what you want, then the IP will work for you. The big plus about this hotel is it%26#39;s location and it pitches a decent game of blackjack...The downsides are the damn dealertainers who are a huge distraction and the fact you have to wait 10 minutes for the elevator and buffet is horrible...

But, with that said, I would still choose it over the Sahara,Riv, CC,Frontier or the Strat...So it could be worse.

Have you really shopped around though? November should have some decent rates all around check the Monte Carlo or Luxor as there rates can get pretty low...

I did check alot of prices i booked this back in March went on a reccommendation of a friend but reading reviews really put a doubt in my mind. I stayed at The LV HIlton last time but wanted better location this time around. Are we talking on the same level as that or worse !!?

never stayed there, but if you are really concerned, perhaps look into Bally%26#39;s? its better reviewed, runs about the same price, and is just as well located...

Rosso I am also staying at the IP nov7-14 .Okay the IP is basic, but we have found it to be clean .If you want a budget hotel in a great location you cant beat it.

we r also booked in the IP for 10 nights.....from the uk

got a great deal with flight and hotel with Thomas Cook uk for the 10 nights = 拢550

which we thought was better than doing it ourselves like seperatly...

some of the reviews are a bit mixed.......but i think it will be ok dont worry...........

and for the price.........who cares...........

I have stayed at the IP several times. I am not a dirty person, and require a clean environment in which to sleep and perform my daily shower ritual! If the IP were as nasty as others have made it out to be, I can guarantee you that I would never have returned there. It IS clean, it IS safe, and it is FUN! The price is right, and as I do not require to be pampered like a princess for $400.00 / night, this makes it a good choice for us. We hope to stay there again on our next Vegas vacation, hopefully this coming November for our anniversary. By the way, the location is terrific, right in the middle of the strip, who could ask for anything more? Budget-wise it makes sense, and if you are not picky about the decor of your room, then you are alright. The rooms are basic (no plasma t.v.%26#39;s, oh MY!) but hey, if all you want is a clean place to shower and sleep, trust me, it will be fine.

Oh, and as a bonus, I can honestly say that not ONCE have I ever had to wait more than 4 or 5 minutes at the MOST for an elevator, and that was very few times. The majority of the time I spent far less waiting for an elevator.

Ross010, I%26#39;ve been staying at the IP for over 15 years....no problems what so ever...if you are looking for a place to sleep and shower that the IP is the place. Don%26#39;t listen to all these people..I would probably say half of them have never stayed at the IP.

You can%26#39;t beat the price and location..and by the way I have never waited for the elevators...ask for a room facing the strip and no problems what so ever.

But if you want to spend the $$$$ than go elsewhere..I just get tired of reading all these reviews about the IP of how terrible it is..If it is so terrible than why hasn%26#39;t HARRAH%26#39;S shut it down by now..rumor has it, that IP will be staying open longer than everyone says..its making a ton of money for Harrah%26#39;s.
