We%26#39;ll be staying at the Gold Coast, without a car. Can anyone tell me the most economical way to get down to Fremont St. for dinner? We%26#39;re going to Hugo%26#39;s Cellar and have heard that the service is superb. Would welcome any comments about the restaurant. Thank you in advance.

First let me thank you for spelling Fremont properly.

Although I%26#39;m not sure why you are looking for the most economical way to get to a superb dining establishment, I can tell you the Duece (city bus) on the strip will be the cheapest. Now you have to get to the strip.

Good news here. There is a free shuttle from GC that will take you to the Barbary Coast and you can catch the Duece from, I think, in front of the Flamingo.

It doesn%26#39;t help that they play commercials for the Fremont Street Experience emphasising that it is Free. This may explain why so many people think it%26#39;s Freemont not Fremont.
