When do the casinos issue you a check instead of cash for your winnings?
What is the rule? If I win $2,000 playing the slots, would I take my ticket to the cashier and receive cash or can I request a check from some where in the casino? How about $10,000? Might be a wishful thinking question, but I always wondered.
Win Big - When do you receive a check instead of cash?
No rules really . If I hit for a substantial sum , I request a check for about 3/4 of amount . No problem , just takes a little longer to get paid .
They times that I have hit sums ranging form 6,000 to 20,000 , I was asked how I wished to be piad .
The ticket question is interesting . It never hurts to ask the cashier when you go to check out .
Win Big - When do you receive a check instead of cash?
I hit a jackpot for $9k earlier this year and they just paid me cash...They prefer it that way to a point. My aunt hit a progressive jackpot for $72k and they just automatically paid her by cashiers check...
I received cash when I hit two royals in April.. I didnt know that check was an option..lol
you can ask for a check for any amount - it doesn%26#39;t have to be ';big'; - i%26#39;m sure that term means diff things to all of us, nevertheless, you want a check, you can get it.
